The New York International Numismatic Convention is the United States’ largest and most prestigious numismatic event targeting the needs of the foreign and ancient numismatic communities.  The 52^st Annual NYINC will be held at the InterContinental  New York Barclay hotel, located 111 East 48 Street, New York, NY  10017, at Lexington Avenue. 

The NYINC will feature a bourse area consisting of over a 100 of the leading specialists in world and ancient numismatists and will be held in the Empire and Grand Ballrooms as well as the immediately contiguous Gallery area of the Barclay. The seven days of auction sessions will be held in the Barclay Salon, located in the lobby level. Auction lot viewing will be held in meeting rooms located on the same second floor level as the bourse area.  Numismatic organization meetings and educational seminars will be held on the second floor of the Barclay in the Morgan Suite and the Astor Suite I.

Please consult the Schedule of Events for the specific session times scheduled by our multiple official auction companies. Our multiple auction sessions are cataloged and conducted by a number of the leading numismatic houses in the world, including: Heritage; Stack’s-Bowers, Classical Numismatic Group, The New York Sale, and Spink USA. In all, five different auction houses, will be contributing their expertise and numismatic drawing power to our auction presentations in 2024. 

 Auction sessions will take place over a span of seven consecutive days, beginning on Monday, January 8 and concluding on Sunday, January 14. No other numismatic convention can equal the incomparable scope and breadth of the NYINC auctions, presentations that quite literally attract dealers and collectors from throughout the globe, making New York City truly the numismatic capital of the world during our event. Auction lot viewing will open on Friday, January 5. 

The bourse area will open from 12noon-7PM on Thursday, January 11 for the Professional Preview/Early Bird Day. For a $125 registration fee, payable on site or through the Buy-A-Pass Tab up on far right of web page. Professional Preview/Early Bird attendees will have access to the bourse area one day prior to the regular public admission hours, as well as at 9:30AM Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Professional Preview/Early Bird Day is open to both collectors and dealers. 

The NYINC bourse area regular public hours will be:

• Friday, January 12 – 10AM-7PM
• Saturday, January 13 – 10AM-7PM
• Sunday, January 14 – 10AM-3PM

Location

 The InterContinental New York Barclay, located at 111 East 48th Street, between Park and Lexington Avenues. In Addition, the #’s 4, 5, 6, 7 and S lines have stops at Grand Central Station, located at 42^nd Street and Park Avenue. The Grand Concourse at Grand Central is directly accessible to the Barclay via the “Northeast Passage”, an indoor connection to 48^th Street ending roughly one half block from the 48^th Street entrance to the Barclay. The entrance to the “Northeast Passage” is located next to track 23 in Grand Central Station. It is open Mondy-Friday from 6:30AM to 9:30PM, closed on Saturday and Sunday.

As the dates of the NYINC draw closer please revisit our site to check for the addition of new and exciting programs and meetings where you will be able to learn about different aspects of world and ancient numismatics.

Future Convention Dates:

The NYINC has firm contracts with the InterContinental NY Barclay, our new home over the dates set forth below

Our bourse dates will be:
– 2024: January 11-14
– 2025: January 16-19
– 2026: January 15-18
– 2027: January 14-17

In each instance the first date noted will be the Thursday Professional Preview/Early Bird Day, with a special registration fee, currently $125, to provide early access to the bourse area Thursday from 12noon-7PM in advance of the Friday-Saturday-Sunday General Admission days.

Public registration is currently $25 for an all events pass during the Friday through Sunday public access period.

Auction lot viewing will typically begin the previous Friday, with auction sessions held daily from the Sunday immediately preceding the Thursday Professional Preview throught the final Sunday of the coin show portion of the NYINC.

Access to the second floor auction viewing rooms is subject to whatever NYINC admission fee is in effect on that particular day of the Schedule of Events.

 Please note that the InterContinental NY Barclay like a growing number of New York City hotels, levies a “destination charge” of roughly $40 over and above the stated room rate. This “destination charge” DOES NOT ” apply to reservations made under our official room block and using the link above, but does apply to bookings made outside the block. including third party websites, travel agencies, etc.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
No outside agency has been authorized by either the New York Barclay or the NYINC to contact our booth holders or other attendees to solicit reservations, whether by phone, e-mail or any other means. Such contacts may be an effort to obtain confidential credit card information or other personal details for potentially fraudulent purposes. It is highly recommended that NYINC participants only book reservations by booking though the link that is posted above on this website.

Please remember also that reservations booked outside the special discounted NYINC room block are subject to an additional $40 “destination charge” that is not assesed against the NYINC room block reservations.

Please remember also that limited rooms are available at our discounted rates. Book early to avoid disappointment. Our room block and special rate expire December 13, 2023.

After that date the hotel may charge higher rates. Reserving sooner, rather than later, is highly recommended.

Note that rooms booked via any method outside the NYINC official room block will be subject to an additional “amenities charge” of $40 per night.

The New York Barclay Hotel is an extremely busy convention and meetings destination. Other events will be taking place in the hotel over our dates. Making a reservation sooner, rather than later, will avoid disappointment. Once the hotel is physically sold out, our availability to be of assistance with housing issues will be limited.
